Stove Top Mix-In Ideas
For A Delicious Alternative...
Simply stir in one of the following Mix-Ins when adding one 6 oz. package of Stuffing Mix to boiling water.

Apple:
1 medium apple, cored, chopped

Corn:
1 can (8 oz.) whole kernel corn or whole kernel corn with peppers

Nuts:
1/2 cup chopped almonds, pecans, walnuts, pistachios, cashews or chestnuts

Pear:
1 medium pear, cored, chopped

Bacon:
5 strips OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled

Dried Fruits:
1/2 cup chopped mixed dried fruits (apples, dates, raisins, apricots and prunes)

Orange:
1 can (11 oz.) drained mandarin orange segments or 2 tsp. grated orange peel and halved sections from 2 oranges

Sausage:
6 oz. bulk sausage, cooked, drained

Bell Peppers:
1/2 cup each diced green and red pepper. Cook and stir peppers in 1 Tbsp. hot oil 5 minutes.

Giblets:
1/2 lb. giblets, cooked, drained and chopped

Oyster:
1 can (8 oz.) oysters, drained

Tomato & Green Onions:
1 medium tomato, chopped, drained and 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Carrot:
1/2 cup shredded carrot

Ground Meat:
1/2 lb. ground meat (beef, turkey, chicken or pork), cooked, drained

Parmesan Cheese:
1/3 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese

Zucchini:
1/2 cup thinly sliced zucchini

Cheddar Cheese:
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Mushrooms:
1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained

Peach:
1 can (8-1/2 oz.) peach slices, drained, chopped

*For added variety, mix and match any of the ingredients listed; but remember to cut each ingredient amount in half.
