PHILADELPHIA® Walnut Frosting

What You Need

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup  (1 stick) butter, melted
1 pkg. (16 oz.) powdered sugar (about 4 cups)
1/2 cup  PLANTERS Walnut Pieces, toasted

Make It

BEAT cream cheese and butter in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.

ADD sugar gradually, beating well after each addition.

STIR in walnuts.

Recipe makes enough frosting to frost tops and sides of 2 (8- or 9-inch) round cake layers; top and sides of a 13x9-inch cake; or 24 cupcakes.
How to Toast Nuts
Toasting nuts adds crunch and intensifies their flavor. To toast nuts in the oven, spread nuts in single layer in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 15 min. or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
