What You Need!

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
1   green pepper, chopped
1 small onion, cut into thin wedges
1 can  (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup water
1 pkg.  (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner

Make It!

COOK and stir chicken in large skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat 5 min. or until chicken is no longer pink. Add peppers and onions; cook and stir 5 min. or until chicken is done and vegetables are crisp-tender.

STIR in tomatoes, water and Macaroni. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on low heat 10 min. or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally.

ADD Cheese Sauce; stir until blended.

Substitute
Substitute 1-1/2 cups of your favorite frozen mixed vegetables for the peppers and onions.

" I'm a big fan of Kraft recipes & haven't had a bad one until this. I read all the reviews & thought it was going to be great but I was very disappointed when it came time to eat. It really had no flavor to it & it seemed that no matter how much I added it didn't make a difference. I cooked the mac 1st & added a can of diced tomatoes w/ basil, oregano, & garlic. That tasted good, then instead of putting 1 cup of water, I did 1/2 water 1/2 milk. Thats where the recipe flipped. It lost everything there. green peppers onions & chicken didn't help at this point. The next night I mixed some salsa in it as I saw in someone's comment & shredded cheddar cheese on top & baked it for about 20 minutes. That made it a little better but couldn't eat it a 3rd time. My husband & I both agree that this recipe will not be made again..."
