What You Need

3 onions, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp.  oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp.  dried thyme leaves
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can  (13.8 oz.) refrigerated pizza crust
1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
3/4 cup  pitted kalamata olives, cut lengthwise in half

Make It

COOK and stir onions in oil in large skillet on medium heat 15 min. or until golden brown. Add garlic, thyme and salt; cook and stir 2 min.

HEAT oven to 400°F. Unroll dough onto greased baking sheet; press into 14x12-inch rectangle. Bake 5 min.; sprinkle with half the cheese.

TOP with onions, olives and remaining cheese. Bake 10 to 12 min. or until edges are golden brown.

Make Ahead
Onion mixture can be made in advance. Cool completely, then refrigerate up to 24 hours before using as directed.
Caramelized Onion Pizza
Substitute 1 pkg. (1 lb.) frozen pizza or bread dough, thawed, for the pizza crust. Do not prebake dough. Press into rectangle, then top with cheese, onions and olives as directed. Bake in 425°F-oven 25 min. or until edges of crust are golden brown.

" This was an excellent recipe. I omitted the olives because my husband doesn't like them. It was also good reheated during the week. Next time i'll add more onions -- they were sooo good."
