" This recipe is great, it's the same way my caterer mom and every Italian restaurant I've ever been to in NJ & NY make ziti. (Who puts meat in ziti???) All the seasoning in this recipe is in the sauce so if you use crummy sauce you will have crummy ziti, duh! I use my homemade, very well seasoned sauce for this. I put the parmesan right into the cheese mixture and add an egg as well. I also put a layer of sauce on the bottom of the pan (this extra sauce makes all the difference). Try this recipe with good sauce and you will be glad you did!"
