Pizza Pasta Salad

Has become a family favorite. Very quick & easy and everyone from 2 yr old up loves it. It's now a camping staple as I cook the pasta before we leave & mix everything together at the site. We prefer it warmed and I omit the basil, add black olives slices & mushrooms.

Easy and tasty. Had trouble finding ingrdients, but I found substitutes. I used pepperoni. My group really liked it.

I found the basil too strong of a taste. It overpowered the rest of the meal and made it taste like licorice (to me, at least). I substitute raw spinach and love this dish.

I love this recipe. It's easy to make, is a pretty presentation, and tastes great!! I make it for week night meals, parties and potluck dinners. The fresh basil really sets off the flavor. My kids like it, too.
