Excellent recipe! I have made it several times. Instead of asparagus spears, I use green beans. I had trouble making the sauce on a gas stove, but on a electric stove it worked much better. I tried it both ways twice, and for some reason the consistency was too runny on the gas stove, but perfect on the electric.
Delicious! It is a new family favorite. I make extra sauce because we don't think the recipe makes enough!
