This came out wonderfully! After reading some of the other reviews, I added a cup or so of broth to the mix and found that the meat and vegetables were very moist and tasty. I also omitted the coffee because I did not have instant coffee on hand.

Very good recipe, the whole family enjoyed it! I did add some garlic powder and italian seasoning to the bbq sauce when I made it the second time and it gave it a little more zip.

Good recipe, although I was unsure about the use of coffee; I couldn't taste that it added anything, and it made the dish look like it had small pieces of dirt in it. Altogether, though, my husband and I enjoyed the dish. It makes a huge quantity, so we'll be having it again tonight! Next time, I'll add mushrooms.

I am making this again tonight for dinner. It's soooo good if you use really good meat like Tenderloin Beef Steak Tips. My family ate it right up!

This was ok. I did what someone else did, I mixed the juice from the meat with the bbq sauce and about a cup of water before I poured it over the veggies and meat. I cooked it on low for 5 hours and turned it up to high for the last 2 hours...that was a mistake. I think putting it on high made it turn out really dry. But the flavor and taste was good. Instead of adding the coffee since I didnt have any, I added a tablespoon of worchester sauce and slightly seasoned the meat with 3 shakes of Adobo.

It was not good in any way. I followed step by step instructions and it came out dry and nasty

I have been looking for a beef stew recipe with a kick and I have found it. It was also very easy to make. My grandchildren LOVED it. Thanks Kraft Food.
