This was Beautiful and delicious. I agree w other posters that the first time it was a bit bland so I now use roasted red pepper, a little extra cheddar, 2 generous dashes of hot sauce and 1/4 t. red pepper flakes and a couple of dashes of garlic powder. I always make it the evening before and bake in the morning. always turns out great..

I love this recipe. My sister use to make it for our girls brunch. I made it for my co-workers and they loved it and wanted the recipe! Great recipe.

I've made this about a dozen times now. Use it frequently for a meal to deliver to new parents along with muffins. It is relatively forgiving, but I agree with others that there is just a tad too much spinach (I use about 1.5 pkgs). I also add at least 2 more eggs and even though I'm generally very salt conscious, I usually add more salt and/or bacon to this recipe because it can be a bit bland without it. Does great in a 9X13 pan, too.

Really simple and simply delicious!! I altered the recipe slightly after reading other reviews re: blandness and added my own spin on it by including green onions, bell peppers, cayenne pepper, seasoned salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and mozzarella cheese. I also tasted as I went along to make sure it wasn't too salty or not seasoned enough. The presentation of it was beautiful and everyone raved about how delicious it was. They all thought it was store bought or catered. What a treat!

I have made this three times now and it's always a HUGE hit! I add some garlic powder, basil, salt, pepper and some parmesan to the egg mixture as well. I love this brunch bake and it sure turns out beautifully!

I made this for a baby shower brunch and it definitely impresses! It just looks so elegant yet is so simple to put together. I did doctor it up a bit based on other reviewers saying it was bland. I sauteed the red peppers along with chopped mushrooms, a few chopped green onions and seasoned with seasoned salt, pepper and a bit of dried thyme. I only used one box of spinach which was perfect given the other ingredients I added. I had many compliments! This is definitely staying in my recipe book!

I made this for Easter and I was disappointed. I did make it the night before but it is nothing more than a quiche. Although I added onions and more herbs..it was rather bland...and heavy! My quiche is much lighter and tastier.

Made Easter 2009. Really good and loved that it was in the pastry. Needed more spice - more bacon or sausage, onion, salt & pepper.
