I LOVED this chicken salad recipe & it was super easy to make! I let it sit over night, added Almond slivers, & ate it on a croissent roll.

I love this basic chicken salad recipe!! I left out the sour cream and some of the celery. I added sweet pickle relish and sliced water chestnuts for crunch. I also added a little sugar and one chopped boiled egg. YUM YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!

This chicken salad recipe is absolutely delicious! I don't like mayo, so I substituted Miracle Whip and skipped the sour cream. I'll never buy chicken salad from the deli again!

When I tasted this recipe,I thought the sour cream added a little more flavor then just adding mayo. However, I decided to add some chopped cashews for a little added crunch and flavor.It was a definate hit with the family

I felt the taste was really bland. There was waaaaaay too much celery for my taste. BUT, i've just finished reading some of the other ratings and there were some good suggestions. I MAY try this again with the variations I read about but I will never make it just as the recipe says to.
