Thanks to past reviews, I added 3 TB water to the apple mixture and decreased the amount of cinnamon to equal 3TB. I would also recommend cooking a bit longer. I used a 2qt casserole dish and I personally would prefer the apples to be cooked just a bit more - maybe 5-10 minutes. I must say though, the recipe is very tasty and delicious with a scoop of vanilla icecream. Leftovers, reheated were just as great! :)

Would make again, and again. Might add a tiny bit more sugar & would pick crisp sweet apples.

I love this recipe but have been unable to make it this year...I can't find the Honey Nut Cream cheese. Does anyone know if they discontinued this product??

I made this recipe just as the directions said. It was way too dry and apples were not done. If I attempted to make this again I would definately try to add something to give it more flavor and moisture, also increase the cooking time.

This recipe was delicious and easy to make. I made it for a family get-together and will definitely make it again.

I have made this recipe 3 times now and it's AMAZING! WAY better than apple pie! I don't make the recipe per say, however. I peel, core, and dice the apples. Put about 2-3 tbsp water with however much sugar and lots of cinnamon (love the stuff!) then I mix up regular (or 1/3 less fat) cream cheese with honey and just a touch of maple syrup. This is extremely versatile! I don't make the topping as crumbly as this calls for- but I instead make it creamy and seal in the top. If you don't have Nilla wafers honey grahams works as does instant maple-brown sugar oatmeal! Wonderful! Top with one scoop vanilla ice cream and it's perfection! Way cheaper to make than pie- 1 apple feeds 2 adults (4oz ramekins) and I always have everything on hand. SO GOOD! Enjoy!
