I make this recipe each Thanksgiving and love it. I do use one box of either strawberry or cranberry jello and one box of orange jello since I'm not a fan of the raspberry. I do add in either fresh orange segments or canned mandarin oranges. It always turns out really well and goes great with dressing and turkey.

My mother makes this recipe for every holiday and I have helped, it is soooooo good!! I usually don't like cranberry's plain, nor do I like pineapple plain, but this combo is great! Its on the healthy side but it tastes like something not so healthy! The apple makes and the walnuts make it a bit on the crunchy side and very tasty!

The first time I made this recipe, my family loved it so much it was gone so fast that I had to make another one the same day. It has now become my sisters holiday tradition to give this as a "gift" to her friends and coworkers. We are asked several times to make this for friends and family even though we have given them the recipe. It is not just for the holidays. We enjoy it any time.

I have been trying different cranberry recipes for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I made this for Christmas and when my mother tasted this, she said "This is it, you don't need to try another recipe!" I was worried that the gelatin mixture didn't seem to thicken after sitting in the fridge for two hours but I added the fruit anyway and put it in the fridge overnight and the consistency was perfect the next day. Oh I used mandarin oranges instead of apples and used that juice along with the pineapple juice and water. This is my go-to cranberry recipe from now on!

My family told me they didn't like cranberry salad, but I made this for Thanksgiving and they asked me to make it again for Christmas dinner! There won't be any leftovers this time either. It's great.

It was wonderful. Not only because of the flavors, but the textures as well.
