Although this was easy to make, we were disappointed with the flavor. Perhaps it was my own fault. I used sweet onions and didn't have any croutons. The result was a too sweet and pretty darn boring soup with an odd A1 flavor lingering in the background. I probably won't make this again, but if I do, I'll be sure to have strongly flavored (herb and garlic) croutons and regular yellow onions.

I thought this recipe was awful. I ended up having to add 2 cans of Campbells French Onion soup to it & also thyme, basil leaves, and lots of pepper to give it some kind of flavor.

I made mine with more beef bullion and a bit more steak sauce and it was great! When you are making it, keep tasting it until you get enough flavor for your liking.

This was absolutely awful! It tasted like onion water. I refuse to throw food away though, so after much doctoring (tons of spices) I made it edible.
