It had a really good flavor but was a bit too sweet. I'll make it again but use unsweetened kool aid mix instead of the sweetened country time. I'd leave in the brown sugar for the flavor though.

I was looking for a hot beverage recipe but wanted something different & caffine free. This was WONDERFUL! I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed it. I liked the blend of spices with the apple juice & lemonade. It smells as good as it tastes & it soothed my sore throat! I definately plan on making this again. It's the perfect drink for autumn or anytime you just want something different. My 3 year old even liked it!

I first tried this at a family gathering as we all love to introduce new recipes.I put all except the apple juice in a coffee filter and made it like coffee,using the juice as the liquid I ran through.It tasted as good as it smelled.

Yummy! I've also made it using apple cider instead of juice and didn't bother using the spices - it was still very good.
