I made these as a birthday present for a friend of mine who absolutely LOVES peanut butter and chocolate. They were quite tasty once finished, but much more time consuming than I expected.

Made this recipe for Valentine's day, using a heart-shaped cookie cutter instead of turning the dough into bees. I dipped half of the heart into melted chocolate. They're SO good! I see many different versions coming for each holiday gathering, as everyone loved them! Very simple and fun to make! But definitely keep them chilled before eating.

I made these bees for my daughter's 3rd b-day party and they were a hit. The "dough" is a little sticky but as long as you rinse your hands in between making a few, they won't stick to your fingers too much. My sister insisted that I make them for Christmas this year so instead of bees I rolled them into bite sized balls, froze them, then dipped half in chocolate and dipped into crushed almond pieces. You need to keep them in the fridge until you serve them. Then after everyone enjoys them, if there is any left, store them in the fridge. They get too soft otherwise.

While these bees were extremely cute, they were not very practical. At room temperature they were sooo soft and sticky. They may have been better if they were placed in paper cupcake liners for serving because the consistency made them hard to pick up. They absolutely need to be refridgerated up until serving. When I did this they were much better.

I made this recipe and entered it into a cooking contest we had at work and got 2nd place! The judges thought they were almost to cute to eat. Lots of fun and delicious!

I made these for a child's birthday party, and they were a huge hit. People were even more impressed with the "artistic" aspect than the taste, I think!
