I substituted cream cheese for the ricotta( and old Kraft Recipe)and doubled the butter. Rich, yes, but creamy and oh so delicious.

The recipe was easy, but it wasnt creamy like alfredo usually is. The ricotta kept it sort of a grainy taste. I added italian seasoning, and pre-cooked italian chicken peices to the sauce. Was ok, but not the greatest.

My husband (oh my) actually made this without burning down the kitchen! It had a decent taste, not as rich as traditional alfredo, and we added grilled shrimp. It took only a few minutes to make, but the texture was a bit grainy.
