I made this for a casual Halloween party and it was a hit! I did not double the syrup as I read others, I think it would be too sticky/sweet if you did. I baked it on an ungreased Silpat which prevented any sticking and skipped the peanuts all together. It is so good I will be making another batch this weekend with the remainder of the ingredients even though it's past Halloween!

One of my co-workers made this and unexpectedly I loved it. She used cocoa-flavored rice cereal. I don't normall care for candy corn, but this was definitely the right combination!

I took the advice of others and doubled the syrup, I also greased the baking sheet really well with Crisco. Both of these modifications were good, I had a little sticking but not bad at all. I omitted the cinnamon too, it didn't seem to fit and even with the double syrup only baked it 24 minutes. Overall, a great recipe!
