These were a hit! Took them to a 4th of July party and everyone loved them. I only put the coconut in the white icing just in case someone didn't care for coconut. Other than that perfect recipe.

These were very festive for the Fourth of July. I am not a huge coconut fan, but they were good and the coconut taste was not overpowering.

My husband didn't like them, but I thought they were delicious. This recipe is very versatile and can be used for other holidays such as halloween and christmas by using familiar holiday colors for the coconut and can garnish with another type of treat!
