Winter Salad

I made the salad as directed and didn't care for the dressing with it. The next time I made it I used light raspberry walnut vinegrette, instead, and it was delish!

Absolutely one of my favorite salads. I tend to make this for company as opposed to "every day".

Made this for Christmas Eve supper. It was very well balanced. I was pressed for time so I purchased a bottle of, "Kraft Zesty Italian," and it went very well with it. I overheard a gentleman at the grocery store discussing pears and chose the ones he was buying, "Bosch" (sorry about spelling) They were more sweeter than the green pears and worked well with the salad.

I made this salad for Thanksgiving dinner and it was a big hit. Even my son-in-law who is a "ranch" man only liked it!
