I agree about using Ritz crackers. The breadcrumbs fell off when I took it out of the pan. I'd add a bit of butter just to solidify them.
I think I would add more smoked salmon, it was kind of "lost"...I added capers & 1/2 cup of sour cream and lot of fresh chopped chives. I used only 2 pkgs. of cream cheese.
I thought it was great, but I'm making it for a New Year's Open House, and will put it in a 13" x 9" pan and cut into wedges.
It really wasn't spreadable...more like a quiche consistency but delicious. Would make this a "Keeper"...
