I made this recipe for the first time on Mother's Day and it was a hit!!! I used whipping cream as instead to Cool Whip. The recipe was easy to make. I will definitely make it again.

I made this recipe in 2 8 or 9 inch cake pans. Then I used the peanut butter filling between the two layers and used the chocolate topping as the frosting. It makes a delicious and beautiful layer cake. It looks a bit fancier as a layer cake for when we're having company or I'm taking it somewhere.

This was good just did not like the chocolate topping, too bitter for me. Next time will try the chocolate pudding idea or no chocolate topping just the peanut butter frosting.

I have made this several times, I have the same problem some of the others have with the chocolate topping. I'm going to try the pudding suggestion. Is there something else that could be mixed with the chocolate so it would not harden? I didn't have a problem with the taste, but it makes cutting the cake difficult.
