I made this when I had some vegetarians over for lunch. Everybody was really happy.

My mom made this for me when I was a kid, although she never added the peanuts. I LOVE it and so do my kids 30 years later! I find that it tastes best when the jelly/jam/fruit spread has had time to soak into the bread - make it in the morning for them to eat at lunchtime. I loved to find this in my lunchbox at school!

I didn't have peanuts so I left those out and I doubled the creamcheese instead. It was alright. It kept me going until supper.

I changed it just a little because I didn't have regular cream cheese. I used garden veggie cream cheese, turkey lunch meat and thinly sliced carrot sticks. It turned out great!!

i like the idea, but what i did was mix peanut butter and cream cheese.. it seems odd but beleive me its yummy (and for sum sweetness you could use flavored cream cheese or just add some jam)

I use different flavors of cream cheese like the strawberry and pinneapple. My kids love it and my son loves to make them.

My child can't eat pnuts, but enjoys this sandwich without the nuts. Try it on raisin bread also. Add some carrots and string cheese for a well rounded lunch.
