The people here are amazing. They’re intelligent, they’re great managers, and they’re fun to be around. In addition, there’s such a diverse mix of talent in GIS. All of them make our organization stronger and more effective. They’re devoted professionals who really care about the business.

I joined Kraft after spending four years in consulting. I really enjoyed being a consultant, but the hours and travel schedules were unbearable. Working at Kraft is, essentially, like being an internal consultant to the other functions. The difference, though, is that at Kraft I can maintain more balance in my life. Kraft encourages employees to actively pursue a full life outside of work. They know that well-rounded people have more to offer as employees. Kraft promotes employee involvement in their communities, in local charities, and in other activities outside of work.

Kraft provides a lot of tools to help you grow in your career. We have a program that helps you focus your goals, plan for the year ahead, and monitor your progress with your manager. Tied into that are specific development plans that you have identified. Those are an important part of the plan, too. Kraft wants to make sure that your assignments keep you challenged and that you are focused on preparing yourself for the future.
