Who We Are
Kraft's Operations organization is responsible for making and distributing the various products sold by the company. This includes:
- Manufacturing the products in our plants
- Distributing our products to customers across the US and Canada
We are headquartered in Northfield, Illinois, and our plants and distribution centers can be found throughout the entire country. We are organized by Sectors: Snacks, Beverages, Grocery, Cheese & Dairy and Convenient Meals.

Join Us!
As a new member of Kraft's NA Manufacturing organization, you are most likely be assigned to one of our plants. From the beginning, you may be responsible for managing employees by holding them accountable through positive feedback and discipline, meeting production schedules, and responsible for delivering results in the areas of cost, service, quality and customer expectations. In addition, you may be responsible for communicating and coordinating with the site lead personnel to identify and prevent problems, obtain production goals or monitor overall line performance.
You might join Manufacturing as a Manufacturing Supervisor, responsible for managing the production process of one of our major brands. You might join as a Maintenance Supervisor, responsible for training maintenance staff in existing or new job processes and serving as a technical point of contact for plant management to keep the plant running efficiently. You could also join the team as a Project Engineer responsible for ensuring the correct processes and equipment are in place for manufacturing products. Other functional positions at our plant locations are::
- HR Generalist
- Finance Analyst
- Production Scheduler
- Quality Supervisor
- Sanitation Supervisor
Wherever you begin, you will get the opportunity to learn about our business from the bottom up. You will understand the key linkages and systems that take a product from concept to development to the marketplace.
What we have to offer you
We are looking for individuals with undergraduate degrees in Operations Management, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, and Packaging), Management, Food Science and other business areas that enjoy working with a team. However, education is just he beginning. We need people who are self-starters who have the motivation and direction to work independently. You must be comfortable interacting with a variety of outside vendors as well as people at all levels of our organization. We need people who are flexible and open to geographical moves as well as career moves within the Manufacturing organization. Most importantly, we need people who are naturally curious and eager to understand and contribute.
