Who We Are
Global Marketing Resources & Initiatives (GMRI) is a collection of teams that work with Kraft's business divisions supplying our marketing strategies. GMRI is a partner with brand management, developing and executing strategies that make Kraft the leader in the marketplace. Our business divisions depend on GMRI for unsurpassed consumer understanding and leading edge business ideas.
The GMRI function has professionals in our management center locations: Glenview, Illinois; Tarrytown, New York; Madison, Wisconsin; and East Hanover, New Jersey.
The Global Marketing Resources & Initiatives Team
GMRI is divided into consumer related service areas, each offering a different expertise. Consumer Insights & Strategy provides market research support and helps to form strategies for our company, categories, and brands. Our Consumer Promotions area develops company wide and brand specific promotion campaigns.
The Advertising and Media Services teams work with advertising agencies to produce award winning campaigns and world-class media plans. Packaging and Creative Services develop packaging concepts and provides photography and video services for the company. The Kraft Kitchens group develops recipes, researches food trends, and provides consumers with great food ideas.
Consumer Relationship Marketing is responsible for establishing meaningful relationships wit high value consumers and developing programs that build the Kraft Foods brand equity. Digital Marketing is responsible for managing the Kraft Foods web site, handling ePromotions, and acting as consultants to brand teams regarding web site development, eAdvertising, and ePromotions. Our Consumer Relations Center provides customer service support to our customers and analyzes consumer information for our businesses.

A career in GMRI may begin in one of several areas. You could be a Market Research Analyst, a Consumer Promotion Coordinator or a member of the Kraft Kitchens team.
Market Researchers help translate consumer data and demographic information into business building initiatives. Our Consumer Promotions team develops and executes consumer awareness building programs like couponing, contests, loyalty programs and in-store promotions. Our Kitchens team develops recipes and ideas about how to make our products better, more convenient and flavorful.
Are You Eager for a Career in Marketing Resources
We're looking for people with undergraduate and graduate degrees in the liberal arts and business disciplines that support our mission. For example, working in the Kraft Kitchens area requires a Culinary or Food Science degree. Our Consumer Insights & Strategy area requires a degree in Market Research or another related discipline such as psychology, sociology, or statistics. We also look for individuals with experience in various related fields, such as promotions, direct marketing, ethnic or brand marketing, consumer relations, marketing information, and package design.
Most importantly, we're looking for individuals who can be part of a team, who can develop an idea and champion it through the organization. You must be a leader, with excellent relationship skills and influencing abilities. We need people who can come up with creative solutions and put them into action to build our businesses.
