Associate Brand Manager, Kraft Cheese Division
Being an Associate Brand Manager means having major responsibilities from day one - and a variety of experiences. The projects you get as an Associate Brand Manager are multi-faceted and challenging. For example, you may be responsible for developing a strategy for entering a new market with one of our existing products. Textbooks and case studies can teach you a lot, but you can't get that kind of learning experience from a book!
Teams are at the heart of everything we do. Each brand is supported by an in-house team of experts who are responsible for every aspect of that brand. The teams analyze consumer wants and needs, then use the expertise of all the team members to meet those needs. Each team is responsible for setting priorities for its business and developing strategies for growing volume, share, and earnings.
As an Associate Brand Manager I am one of the functional marketing experts on the team. I work with experts from Finance, Sales, Research & Development, Consumer Promotions, Logistics, Market Research, Packaging Designs, and our Kitchens. In many ways, we're more like a council. Each person is skilled in his or her area of the business and brings a particular expertise to the table.
The most satisfying aspect of my job as Associate Brand Manager for Kraft Foods is that everything I do helps to build the business. And I can see the results of my work every day in volume, share, and earnings growth. It's great to go home at the end of the day knowing that I have done my part to grow the business and help us to reach our goals as a company.
