Brand Assistant

A Marketing Brand Assistant will be assigned to a Brand/Category Business Team with responsibilities that will be designed to  build analytical, strategic, creative and team/ interpersonal skills as well as overall business skills. Within the first year, responsibilities could include:

  1. Tracking & analysis of key business measures including volume, share, pricing, distribution and promotional activity
  2. On-going competitive analysis & assistance in developing "offense/defense" plans
  3. Team leadership of business forecasting (including category, consumption, production and inventory management)
  4. Assisting in key strategic initiatives (including new product line extensions, brand repositioning, and evaluation of new media outlets)
  5. Leading small scale consumer promotions and public relations programs
  6. Leadership of "near-in" packaging changes
  7. Tracking and reconciling the brand's budget

Responsibilities beyond the first year progress to include increased ownership of key business initiatives.
