Director Management and Organization Development
What drew me to Kraft were the people. During my interview process every person I met was top-notch. I knew that these were people I could learn from and I knew I could grow with this organization. Talented people are the norm at Kraft.
I've been fortunate to have great managers throughout my career who have supported and provided challenge and growth opportunities. They've given me great career guidance, challenging projects, and honest feedback. As a result, I've been able to learn while contributing to our business.
Early in my career I had the chance to form and oversee task forces, conduct major studies, and implement strategic changes. Those on-the-job experiences were more valuable than anything.
One of the most satisfying aspects of my job has been in coaching and facilitating. I've been able to help people plan their careers and take advantage of opportunities they didn't know existed. It's extremely rewarding to work with someone to help him or her move into a whole new area of the company. Not only is the employee increasing his or her overall business experience, but the organization is also enriched because the individual can contribute in a much broader capacity.
It's critical that people who join Human Resources at Kraft have a passion for our function as well as the enthusiasm to learn every aspect of our business. Human Resources at Kraft truly functions as a business partner. At Kraft, our input is critical. Line management depends on our perspective to help build our employees and the future of our business.
