Kraft Foods sponsors several awards through the American Society for Nutrition.
The Conrad Elvehjem Award for Public Service in Nutrition This award, sponsored by Kraft Foods, is given in recognition of scientific and distinguished service to the public through the science of nutrition. The winner receives $1500 and an engraved plaque.

National Award: The Healthy Eating in Arenas Project—A project that enables arena patrons in the Durham Region of Ontario to make wiser food decisions through the availability of healthy menu options.
British Columbia: The Guidelines for Food and Beverage Sales in BC Schools—A project to improve the food choices of students in all school locations, including vending machines, school stores and cafeterias, at fundraisers and other events.
Alberta and the Territories: The Big Cook—A cookbook and cooking concept to help busy singles, couples and families get organized with their meal preparation and increase their intake of healthy homemade meals.
Saskatchewan, Manitoba and North-Western Ontario: Livin’ it Up! A Wellness Program for Seniors—An interactive six-week wellness program for older adults that is designed for seniors living independently to help them make healthy living practices part of their daily routines.
Quebec, Northeast and Eastern Ontario: Top Fuel for Top Performance—A nutrition education program designed specifically for the Canadian Forces. Workshops and facilitators help military personnel assess their eating practices, build skills to encourage food choices to support physical performance, reduce risks for chronic disease and enhance healthy body weights.
Atlantic: Thought About Food? A Workbook and DVD on Food Security and Influencing Policy—A program designed to build the skills of dietitians and other health professionals to influence policy changes that support healthy living.
International Nutrition Foundation—Kraft Foods Nutrition and Food Science Fellowships In 2005, Kraft Foods and the International Nutrition Foundation launched the INF-Kraft Foods Nutrition and Food Science Fellowship Program. Nineteen African leaders attending the "Nutrition Safari for Innovative Solutions" in Durban, South Africa were among the first fellows honored in this program.
